Commissioners make everyday decisions that direct the mission and vision of the county, protect it and preserve it or sell it to the highest bidder! I am a strong, stalwart commissioner who puts Citizens first in El Paso county.

I stand with the people of El Paso county who do not want to pay more in taxes and hidden fees and receive less in return! Moore accountability and less hidden "fees" disguised as taxes to usurp the will of the people.

LINDSAY MOORE: TENACIOUS LEADERSHIP FOR EL PASO COUNTY
My name is Lindsay Moore, and I am a Colorado native, a dedicated principal, an educator, and a mother. My career has been defined by a singular focus: returning power, health, and agency to the people. I am running for County Commissioner because District 1 deserves a leader who is not only battle-tested in the private and non-profit sectors but possesses a technical understanding of how to defend our county from state overreach.
Serving as a Legislative Aide at the State House provided me with a high-level perspective on the mechanics of lawmaking. I have seen firsthand how top-down legislation can infringe upon local sovereignty. This experience has positioned me to be a sophisticated shield for El Paso County. I know how to navigate the complexities of state mandates and, more importantly, how to protect our citizens from the creeping overreach of the state government.
As a business owner, principal, I lead a school dedicated to the virtues of American Exceptionalism, the Free Market Economy, and the Principles of Liberty. I don’t just talk about these values—I teach them and live them every week. My administrative background is characterized by high-pressure environments that require fast-paced problem solving and decisive, just action.
El Paso County is at a crossroads. We need a Commissioner who leads with a servant’s heart but fights with tenacious, bold, and passionate leadership. I am a proactive communicator who believes in total transparency and accountability to the constituents.
I have the knowledge to navigate the system and the grit to challenge it. I am ready to serve as your next County Commissioner and ensure that our county remains a stronghold of liberty, fiscal responsibility, and community-focused leadership.

Second Amendment
El Paso County is a Second Amendment county, and I will fight to keep it that way. The right to keep and bear arms is not a privilege granted by government, it is a constitutional right that protects law abiding citizens and helps families defend their homes. As your County Commissioner, I will oppose any local policy that infringes on lawful gun ownership, support our Sheriff in enforcing the law while respecting constitutional rights, and stand against backdoor restrictions that punish responsible citizens instead of criminals.

Cut red tape, remove hidden fees, and stop wasteful spending to help families afford life in El Paso County. Protect TABOR so taxpayers keep their rights and government stays accountable.

Support the Sheriff’s Office with the staff, training, and tools needed to reduce crime and keep our neighborhoods safe. Improve response times and strengthen emergency planning so help arrives fast when it’s needed.

Roads and Infrastructure
Focus on fixing roads, not fancy projects: fill potholes, repair rough streets, and improve drainage. Deliver safer, smoother roads that last and use taxpayer money wisely.
